Fun to read, thought provoking comic. We rarely find comics touching such sensitive and emotional topics. What I loved in the book is the word to word translation of my language Dakhni Urdu in English. Each comic block has two conversation bubbles in the respective languages, that would make it easy for anyone to understand. This aspect of the comic was new for me and I appreciate the writer’s effort in spreading awareness about our language. The story seems like a fun read but as I finished the book, it’s essense hit me hard – rendered me speechless for a while making me introspect on the ways of our society. I’m sorry for this late review, I really didn’t know that I could write one here. All the best for your second book. Eagerly waiting to get my hands on it ASAP.

It’s wow created, story and art work is amazingly done. My personal favourite is Sattu. I never thought of Dakhani comic before, but 100 marks to the team hallubol. Keep rocking

What an incredibly gripping read that focuses on societal pressures through a comedic lens. Literally ANYONE can pick up a Hallu Bol comic and they’ll undeniably enjoy the unique narration and the brilliant attention to detail. The colourful personalities of every character make the experience even more enjoyable! Truly a thrill 😀

An absolute sweet and fun to read with such rich characters. Love how the theme of toxic masculinity is approached with gentleness and humour. Lookout for the fun little details in the background. Can’t wait for the sequel!
